Jimmy Larkin is the CEO and owner of BaronsMedia.com. In December of 2006 Jimmy cracked his piggy bank and launched Barons Media. With a lot of hard work he built a small team which currently stands over 25 employees. Today, Barons Media generates over 4 billion ad impressions a month while serving to over 1,250 direct, exclusive and owned and operated publishers on its proprietary ad-serving technology. The management of BaronsMedia includes the company’s day-to-day operations and setting the companies direction. Prior to launching BaronsMedia, Jimmy was the Director of Sales at Vendare Media for five years starting in 2001. While at Vendare he managed sales teams across the nation in both Vendare’s direct response and display divisions. Jimmy is an accomplished manager, skilled in executing integrated sales and marketing programs, and has extensive operations and product experience. He received a BS degree in Political Science from Cal State Northidge (CSUN).

AdForge has now integrated this system into its own Unified Ad Server and will soon deploy a real time Quality Exchange. Prior to AdForge, Scott founded Hotpoint Media, an online women’s lifestyle network of 10 sites that grew to 1.5B display impressions per month. Previously, Scott was the CEO of Kadoink, a venture backed mobile advertising company that was acquired by Engage Labs. Prior to that, Scott was the CEO of Signature Wines & Beverages, a company in the personalized beverage space which was twice named to the Inc 500.
Ben Edelman has been catching online advertising fraud for fifteen years – from the earliest days of adware to the latest botnets. The FBI credits Ben’s reports with the 2014 incarceration of two affiliate fraudsters, and Ben’s direct-observation reports catch hundreds of miscreants each year. Ben’s litigation efforts have helped to protect advertisers from improper advertising billings, including historic unwanted syndication at Yahoo and various overbillings from Facebook. Ben is an Associate Professor at the Harvard Business School where he teaches technology strategy and writes about all manner of online malfeasance. He holds a PH.D. from the Department of Economics at Harvard University and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
Noah got his start in advertising in 2009 working on the Suzuki and Hi-Chew accounts for a boutique agency and on Cisco for Ogilvy and Mather. In May of 2012, Noah took a gamble and left the Agency world for a job at an up and coming Media Company, Barons Media. Today, he is the Director of Video Demand and Supply and increased revenue over 172% since 2013. Noah is an accomplished manager, skilled in executing integrated sales and marketing programs, and has extensive operations and product experience. He received a BS degree in History with a minor in Anthropology from University of California, Loa Angeles (UCLA).
Joe Saunders is head of advertising products at Distil Networks. Prior to Distil Networks, he launched Loud Castle Media building a marketing analytics company for consumer brands. He also managed AIMS Interactive, the digital group within AIMS Worldwide. Prior to these ventures, Joe served for six years as VP of Business Development at TARGUSinfo (sold to Neustar). Joe is the founder of Children’s Voice International, a nonprofit serving abandoned and exiled children worldwide. He is a graduate of the University Michigan (BS Mathematics) and has completed his coursework towards an MS in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University.
Simon Hayhurst leads Rocket Fuel’s product and business development teams. With more than 20 years experience, Simon brings great depth and breadth of expertise to Rocket Fuel.
Prior to joining Rocket Fuel, he served as the senior vice president of product management at YuMe, where he led product strategy and execution through its IPO.
Before YuMe, Simon served as senior vice president of marketing at Autonomy. He was responsible for launching Aurasma, an industry-leading platform for movie promotion, retail marketing, and other applications. He also led the marketing of Autonomy’s suite of web, social, and call-center products.
Before that, Simon held product-leadership roles at Adobe, where he helped increase market share from 21 percent to 45 percent for their video and audio tools software portfolio. He also helped reverse declining revenues.
Prior to Adobe, Simon worked for Silicon Graphics, he worked in diverse applications from oil exploration to car design to virtual reality. He was also responsible for a $300M portfolio of hardware and software solutions.
Simon started his career at IBM, working at IBM Hursley Labs in the UK within their collaborative software group.
He holds a Masters in Engineering from Cambridge University, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He holds patents on applications spanning augmented reality, social media, video production, and graphics visualization.
Mark has over 12 years’ experience selling enterprise software, ad tech and internet advertising. Most recently Mark served as SVP Business Development & Sales at Ringleader Digital, a mobile ad serving platform and ad network focused on bringing 3rd party ad serving to the mobile ecosystem. In that role he worked closely with ESPN, Microsoft Advertising and AccuWeather. Prior to Ringleader Mark held key roles at Entriq, Motive, Broadjump, and Oracle. Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Having over fifteen years of experience in financial services and technology, he knows first-hand the imperative of digital fraud countermeasures. Ron Nielsen serves as Executive Vice President of Operations for Specific Media, Myspace, Vindico and Xumo. In this role, he is responsible for leading all day-to-day operations company-wide. In Addition, Ron also serves as General Manager for Myspace.com. Prior to joining Specific Media, Ron was the Senior Vice President at Vendare Media, a privately owned online media company, where he managed sales teams across the nation in both Vendare’s direct response and display divisions. Ron has also managed sales divisions for Investor’s Business Daily and Robert Half International. Ron is an accomplished manager, skilled in executing integrated sales and marketing programs, and has extensive operations and product experience. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Prior to co-founding Are You a Human, Reid Tatoris spent five years in high tech consulting. He worked on packaged software implementation projects, led custom development teams, and managed offshore development teams in India and the Philippines.
Reid holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan. He grew up in metro Detroit, and currently lives Downtown.
David Sendroff is the founder and CEO of Forensiq (formerly CPA Detective), an award winning ad fraud detection platform. Prior to Forensiq, David was the CIO of Spire Vision (now part of Zeta Interactive), a marketing firm that he grew from startup through acquisition to Caivis. David serves on several fraud and quality related tasks forces for the IAB, PMA, and OLA. David has been working in the technology space for nearly 15 years and received his BS in Computer and Information Sciences from The University of Maryland at College Park.
Gillian has spent her entire career in the field of data analytics. She’s worked with many industry stakeholders – from media and tech companies, to advertising agencies and publishers, to the U.S government – enabling a better understanding of and interaction with the digital consumer. Gillian has been at comScore since 2005, helping the company evolve from a market research firm to the big data measurement and digital advertising currency that it is today. Gillian received her BS in Commerce and Psychology from the University of Virginia and her MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Gillian currently manages strategic client relationships and product development initiatives for comScore’s San Francisco office.
With over 25 years of experience in leading technology and engineering for well-known public and private companies, Joe is a seasoned business technology leader who has built and supported technology infrastructures and teams for organizations in the online advertising, finance, and hi-tech sectors. Joe began his career as an engineer for IBM and later founded eBuilt, Inc.; a groundbreaking software development company that led IT projects for several Fortune 500 companies and Internet startups. He also served as vice president of technology for Autobytel, Inc. and CIO for Secured Funding Inc. In addition, Joe was part of the founding technical team at Adforce, where he was responsible for the network and systems architecture that enabled the company’s successful IPO and led it to become the second largest centralized ad delivery service on the Internet. Most recently, Joe served as vice president of engineering at Brand Affinity Technologies, where he managed the senior team responsible for product engineering and online system operations. As the vice president of technology for Local Corporation, Joe leads the company’s technology and engineering development initiatives. Joe studied at the University of California, Irvine.
Daniel serves as VP of Operations at Barons Media. He is responsible for the day to day operations of the company. With over 12 years of experience in the digital space he has served in management rolls with Mobile Messenger, Spiral Solutions and Pronet. Daniel was the 5th US employee at Mobile Messenger, helping it to grow into a company with over 300 employees worldwide. When Daniel joined Barons Media he built out the video division, increasing revenues by over 300%. As an accomplished manager in the digital space with strengths in marketing, operations and sales, Daniel continues to steer Barons Media into new markets and increased revenues.
